Preparing for Birth
Award-winning maternal care
Saint Agnes is one of 134 hospitals being recognized by California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC) for high-quality maternal care. Saint Agnes was honored to receive the Quality & Sustainability Award for Timely Treatment for Severe Hypertension Rate and the Superstar Award for Large Birth Volume Hospitals. Get more information about the recognition, here.
Save time, pre-register online
Rather than waiting to complete paperwork when you arrive to the hospital, you can now pre-register from the comfort of your own home. You may register up to three months before your expected delivery date. When the big day arrives, you'll still check-in at registration, but the process will be much quicker.
Maternity education online

In-person classes are currently canceled but we are excited to offer Bundle of Joy Online at NO COST! The online course covers the same topics as in-person but is condensed into a two-hour format.

Stork Tours
Spending time in a hospital for any reason can be stressful, especially when you're getting ready to bring a new life into the world. Before your big day, get better acquainted with Saint Agnes and our Women and Infants department by signing up for a Stork Tour led by one of our Childbirth Educators.
You'll have the chance to see the labor and delivery rooms, the Obstetrics Emergency Department (OBED), and the rooms where you will recover and begin to bond with your new little one.
