About
Dr. Oravec specializes in non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, fracture care, concussion management, facilitating rehabilitation and injury prevention. He provides many services including injections, diagnostic ultrasound, advanced diagnostic imaging, and coordinating medical care for all active individuals.
Dr. Oravec comes to Saint Agnes after practicing sports medicine at Coordinated Health in Allentown, Penn., where he served as the Team Physician for Lehigh University and medical director for Parkland School District for the past three years.
He completed Primary Care residency and Sports Medicine fellowship training at Temple University/Sacred Heart Hospital, also in Allentown, Penn., and earned his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean.
Dr. Oravec has always led an active lifestyle through playing college baseball and competitive skiing. He chose to become a physician because of his passion for exercise, nutrition and injury prevention.
During his free time, Dr. Oravec enjoys mountain biking, skiing, fishing and spending time with family.
Dr. Oravec is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Physicians.
