About
Born and raised in the Madera area, Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Dr. Peter Nassar has been practicing in the Fresno/Madera area for more than 14 years. Dr. Nassar received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of California, San Francisco–Fresno Medical Education Program. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry/Cell Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, with a Minor in Music Theory.
Dr. Nassar is currently the chair of our American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology section.
“My treatment philosophy when it comes to patients is more of a partnership. My job is to guide them, provide them with as much information as I can, and then help them with some of the more difficult decisions.”
Dr. Nassar is fluent in Spanish and Arabic. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with family and enjoys outdoor activities.
