About
Alvin Vong, MD, is a family medicine physician practicing at Saint Agnes Care Center Magnolia.
Dr. Vong received his medical degree from American University of Antigua and went on to complete his family medicine residency right here at Saint Agnes Medical Center.
Though originally from the Bay Area, Dr. Vong was touched by the need for accessible care in the Central Valley, so he chose to stay on at Saint Agnes after the completion of his residency.
He enjoys being a doctor because of the strong relationships he is able to establish with his patients while helping them make well-informed decisions about their health.
"As a young child, I wanted to help people," he says. "As I got older, I realized what it meant to be a physician and that health is integral to a person’s overall happiness and well-being. I enjoy making a difference in my patients’ lives by helping them be healthy and happy."
In his free time, Dr. Vong enjoys playing and watching sports, hiking and watching Korean dramas and movies.
He is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
