Saint Agnes names new Vice President of Operations, Luis Avila, MBA, to the executive team.
Avila is a seasoned health care leader with experience in overseeing hospital operations for a broad range of departments, business and strategic planning, service line growth and process improvement through Lean Sigma Six. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations for Ancillary and Support Services at Sutter Health Valley Hospitals in Sacramento. In this role, he served as the senior operational leader and developed a collaborative strategy to enhance care delivery and patient experience while ensuring long-term financial sustainability for the system.
Avila received his MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga and earned his bachelor’s in industrial and systems engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
