Saint Agnes Medical Center Names 2019 Champion in Care Recipient

Saint Agnes Medical Center is pleased to announce this year's Champion in Care recipient Alfred G. Valles, MD.
Members of the Saint Agnes leadership and nursing teams presented the award to the cardiologist at the annual Saint Agnes Doctors Day Celebration on March 30 (National Doctors Day), held at Haron Jaguar Land Rover in downtown Fresno.
Established in 2009, the award is given to a Saint Agnes physician who demonstrates a team spirit and a desire to work collaboratively with Saint Agnes nurses and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Nurses and colleagues regard Dr. Valles as a kind, compassionate and exceptionally intelligent physician who is an incredible asset to the team. His nominators feel he encourages others to strive for perfection and continuous improvement, and they appreciate the time he takes to engage the patient's care team to provide the best care.
Dr. Valles has cared for patients at Saint Agnes Medical Center since 2012.
