On Saturday, April 27, Saint Agnes Men's Club successfully raised a record-breaking $300,000 at their annual Casino Night fundraiser, presented by Proper Defense Law Corporation. Of funds raised, $150,000 came from the 'Fund-a-Need' portion of the evening, alone.

The 'Fund-a-Need' segment gives attendees the opportunity to give directly to a critical inititative at Saint Agnes Medical Center. This year, 'Fund-a-Need' donations will go towards our soon-to-be expanded Emergency Department. Other funds raised during Casino Night will be allocated to various patient care programs and services throughout the Medical Center.

The event was held at a private residence and had more than 500 attendees. Partway through the evening, the Men's Club presented Saint Agnes Leadership with a check for $379,000 from 2023 fundraising efforts to benefit key services including: cardiac, cancer, women and children, medical equipment and our Heavenly Hounds therapy dogs.

"I want to extend a massive thanks to those who attended Casino Night. Their generous contributions are going to change many lives," says Gurvinder Kaur, MD, Saint Agnes President and Market Leader. "Our donors act as an extension of the healing work our colleagues and physicians perform every day. With the support of our community, Saint Agnes is able to improve accessibility to high-quality care right here in the Valley."

The Saint Agnes Men's Club, established in 1983, is celebrating 41 years as a philanthropic organization. In its life span, the club has raised more than $4 million for the Medical Center.

"We are grateful for the Men's Club's support of our healing mission at Saint Agnes," says Sara K. Frauenheim, Chief Development Officer. "For more than 40 years, they have raised critical funds through their annual fundraising events. As a result of these efforts, they have allocated more than $4 million, directly benefiting patient care programs and services at the Medical Center. We are very fortunate to have them as ambassadors in our community."
