Central Valley Breast Milk Drive 2025

Milk drive

In honor of World Breastfeeding Month in August, Saint Agnes is sponsoring a Central Valley Breast Milk Drive hosted by Mothers' Milk Bank of California. Through the milk drive, you can donate your frozen milk to provide the essential nutrients that babies need to survive. Every precious drop county to help babies thrive during times of uncertainty.

Our commitment to these precious resources

In partnership with the Mother's Milk Bank of California, we are committed to ensuring that every drop of donated breast milk is utilized, even if it's not suitable for babies. This milk is used for studies or research purposes. If you are a mother who has experienced loss and is donating milk, we hope that this process brings you some healing and comfort. We are here to support you in any way we can.

There is no cost associated with being a milk donor, and the intake process ensures that milk donors meet established safety standards, allowing their milk to help nourish premature, critically ill, malnourished, or at-risk babies.

How the milk donation intake process works

Once you have collected a minimum of 100 ounces of frozen breast milk, there are four steps to get your donated milk dispensed to hospitals and families. If you are experiencing the loss of your baby, please note that there is NO minimum amount of milk required for donation.

Step 3

You will provide additional information about your medical history and lifestyle, and sign medical consent forms.

Step 4

The final step in the screening process is to complete blood work, which will be coordinated and paid for by Mothers' Milk Bank California.
