We recognize the important role that family and friends play in the healing process, but our patients also need rest. So we ask that you support our visiting policy by keeping your visits short (10-15 minutes) and limiting visitors to two at a time. Children are welcome but should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Visiting Hours
- General
10 a.m.-9 p.m. daily After-hours visits are accommodated in select areas and under special circumstances. Please discuss with the patient’s nurse.
- Maternity
10 a.m.-9 p.m. No children under age 12 permitted except siblings of newborns.
- Critical Care Units (immediate family only)
10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Quiet time is observed from 2-4 p.m.
For the safety and security of our patients, all hospital entrances are secured promptly at 9 p.m. (the end of visiting hours). To enter the hospital after 9 p.m., please check in with Security at the Outpatient Center entrance (east side of hospital behind the Emergency Department).
Visitor Entrances During regular hours, you may enter through the Main, West or North Wing, or through our Outpatient Center (east side of the hospital behind the Emergency Department).
If you are unsure about the location of the patient you are visiting, we encourage you to call the hospital operator, (559) 450-3000, prior to your arrival. Be sure to ask in which wing the room is located. This information will be especially helpful in choosing the parking lot and entrance closest to where you will be visiting.
If you are unfamiliar with our hospital campus, see Maps and Directions. For additional resources, please refer to the Saint Agnes Patient Guide.
Parking Free valet parking is available 5:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, for all patients and visitors at the Outpatient Center entrance (east side of hospital behind the Emergency Department). Attendants remain onsite until 7 p.m. to retrieve previously valeted cars.
RV Parking Saint Agnes Medical Center provides a designated area especially for visitors requiring use of their recreational vehicle. However, we do not provide hookup capabilities. Please call (559) 450-3000 and ask to be connected to our Security Department to register your vehicle and provide assistance in finding a parking place.
Patient Privacy We respect our patients' right to privacy and ask that you do the same. Please be considerate about taking photos if there is a chance another patient may show up in the picture or discussing your loved one's progress in the presence of others. Likewise, if you see or hear patient information being disclosed in an inappropriate manner, please let a staff member know. (Patient Bill of Rights and Responsibilities are posted throughout the Medical Center.)
Please be aware that our visiting policies, including age restrictions, are subject to change during special circumstances (i.e. ful season). If you have questions about our visiting policy, please check with Guest Services in the Main and North Wing lobbies, or call (559) 450-3220.
