It's flu season! Saint Agnes Medical Center is taking extra precautions to protect our patients, visitors and staff from exposure to respiratory and flu illness. This includes implementation of our Flu Season Visitor Policy, outlined below.
- Visitors will be limited to two per patient (one visitor per patient in the Emergency Department).
- Anyone with cold or flu symptoms may NOT visit patients.
- Children under age 14 may NOT visit patients or be in patient care areas.
Exception: Child siblings of maternity patients and children of critically ill or end-of-life patients on a case-by-case basis. These children may visit only after being screened at check-in for fever and respiratory illness and after receiving a "Good Health Badge" at these locations: Maternity Check-in (6-Main), 2-Main Guest Services Desk, or the Outpatient Center entrance.
*Visitors should wash their hands with soap and water or use instant hand sanitizer before and after each visit (available throughout the hospital and in each patient room).
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our Flu Season Visitor Policy.
