Saint Agnes currently has two locations for breast health services:
Breast Center at The Plaza (Screening and Diagnostic Mammography and Breast Ultrasound) Medical Arts Building 7202 N. Millbrook Ave., Suite 206 Fresno CA 93720 (559) 450-2662
At our state-of-the-art Diagnostic Breast Center, the most advanced technology for physical healing comes together in a beautiful, soothing environment conducive to our patients' spiritual and emotional needs. Among the services offered at the Diagnostic Breast Center, minimally invasive stereotactic and ultrasound biopsy services provide a precise diagnosis for breast problems, often without the need for surgery.
If a surgical biopsy is required, patients are conveniently accommodated without having to leave the building. While still in surgery, local anesthetic is used, and an on-site pathologist consults with the surgeon to confirm that the tumor has been successfully removed. Biopsy results are processed within 48 hours.
All exams are performed by licensed MQSA-qualified mammography technologists. The Breast Center(s) meet all federal and state regulations regarding mammography and are fully accredited by the FDA and certified by the California State Department of Public Health - Radiologic Health Branch.
*ACRs accreditation means that Saint Agnes has met the highest level of patient safety standards and image quality. This distinction is only given to facilities meeting ACR Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards after a comprehensive peer-review evaluation by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field.
