Visitor Information

Whether you come to Saint Agnes from around the corner or out of town, our colleagues, clinicians and physicians are here to make your experience with us as comfortable as possible.

The following information can help you and your caregivers navigate to and park near the Medical Center or one of our nearby facilities, locate our on-campus Gift Shop and Cafe, and find comfortable overnight accommodations. If at any time you are in need of assistance, please do not hesitate to ask a staff member for help. We are here to assist you in any way we can.

General Visiting Hours

10 a.m.-9 p.m. daily
After-hours visits are accommodated in select areas and under special circumstances. Please discuss with the patient’s nurse.


10 a.m.-9 p.m.
No children under age 12 permitted except siblings of newborns. During flu season, however, child visitors must be at least 14 years of age. (Up to three visitors at a time).

Critical Care Units

(immediate family only)
10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 4-8 p.m.
Quiet time is observed from 2-4 p.m.

For the safety and security of our patients, all hospital entrances are secured promptly at 9 p.m. (the end of visiting hours). To enter the hospital after 9 p.m., please check in with Security at the Outpatient Center entrance, east side of hospital behind the Emergency Department.

Visitor Entrances

During regular hours, you may enter through the Main, West or North Wing, or through our Outpatient Center, east side of the hospital behind the Emergency Department (map).

If you are unsure about the location of the patient you are visiting, we encourage you to call the hospital operator, (559) 450-3000, prior to your arrival. Be sure to ask in which wing the room is located. This information will be especially helpful in choosing the parking lot and entrance closest to where you will be visiting.

Flowers can be delivered to all rooms except in critical care areas. A selection of floral arrangements is available in the hospital’s Gift Shop.


Mail and packages are delivered daily. Patient mail received after discharge will be forwarded to the patient’s home. Outgoing mail may be given to the nurses station or to your attending nurse. Postage stamps are available in the gift shop. Flowers and mail for patients can be sent to: Saint Agnes Medical Center ATTN: (Patient’s Name), 1303 E. Herndon Ave., Fresno, CA 93720.
