Fresno, CA - Saint Agnes Medical Center and Trinity Health are pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Hollingsworth, RN, MSN, MBA, to President and CEO of Saint Agnes Medical Center, effective immediately. Nancy has been serving as the Medical Center's interim leader since February 2011.
"While serving as Saint Agnes' interim leader during the past six months, Nancy has earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues, associates, physicians and donors," said Rick O'Connell, Executive Vice President & COO, Hospital Networks, Trinity Health. "Her commitment to uphold the highest standards, for herself and those around her, is just one of the many leadership qualities that make Nancy the right choice to guide Saint Agnes Medical Center as it continues to provide the highest quality and compassionate care to the community."
Nancy began her tenure at Saint Agnes in the early '80s, working as an Oncology staff nurse from 1982-84, and then as Manager of Patient Resources from 1985-1988. Wanting to advance her career, she left Fresno to pursue higher education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she earned her Master of Science, Nursing, and her Master of Business Administration. From 2000-2007, Nancy worked as a Senior Manager of Strategy and Operations for Deloitte Consulting in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2007, she returned to Saint Agnes as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
"This is extremely good news for Saint Agnes and for our community at-large," said Craig Saladino, Chair, Saint Agnes Board of Trustees. "Nancy leads with the highest integrity and has an unwavering commitment to the Mission and Core Values of Saint Agnes, which will provide the stability needed to further the Medical Center's 82-year healing legacy."
