For the 15th consecutive year, Valley residents chose Saint Agnes Medical Center as their National Consumer Choice Award winner. Saint Agnes was one of a select group of hospitals nationwide to receive the 2010/11 award for overall quality and image, and is one of only 43 hospitals to receive this distinction 15 years in a row.
This distinction is based on the Ticker Study conducted by National Research Corporation (NRC) of more than 250,000 households representing 450,000 people. This is the 15th year that NRC has named the top hospitals in markets throughout the United States.
"This vote of confidence is a testament to our employees and physicians, who have dedicated their lives to improving the health and well-being of Valley residents," Saint Agnes President and CEO, Jim Leonard, says. "More importantly, it motivates us to work even harder to continue meeting Valley residents' expectations with the level of care they have come to know and trust."
Saint Agnes is proud to share this 15-year Consumer Choice distinction with some of the nation's finest healthcare facilities, including Johns Hopkins Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and Yale-New Haven Hospital.
NRC is a recognized industry leader with more than two decades of experience in healthcare performance measurement and improvement. The Ticker Study is the nation's largest and most comprehensive study of its kind.
