Saint Agnes Wound Care, Hyperbaric Medicine and Amputation Prevention offers inpatient and outpatient services to individuals who have had ostomy surgery or open wounds that require continuing care. The program provides a consistent, standardized approach determined by the individual patient's needs and responses.
The comprehensive team of physicians, nurses and support staff provide optimal care in each patient's healing process. Our physician team includes a multi-disciplinary group of specialists, including vascular surgeons, podiatrists, and general and plastic surgeons. All are accredited by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. Our registered nurses have attained Wound, Ostomy and Continence Certification, in addition to having many years of acute care experience.

Our skilled nurses provide specialized education to patients and healthcare professionals, focusing on prevention, treatment, and management of wound/ostomy patients. This includes:

- Care and appliance selection
- Ostomy support group
- Complication management
- Food blockage
- Skin integrity
- Pouching problems
- Procedure preparation
